I just stayed at a nice hotel and their coffee is terrible. It is offered as a high end coffee but it is absolutely terrible to drink. I used to not know the difference, but since I started roasting my own coffee, I have educated my palette so now I know the difference between good coffee and bad coffee. Part of the problem is that these big roasters cut corners and buy cheap beans and the other problem is the delivery method. In my hotel room there is a Wolfgang Puck coffee and you have to use this one cup coffee maker with the coffee bag. It is a convenient way to make coffee but it tastes terrible because of the paper filter and plastic coffee maker. There must be a better way to deliver good coffee to these people. Let me think about this....
